We learned from Holly's mom, Heidi, that childhood cancer only receives about 4% of national funding for cancer research. And of that 4%, who knows what is put aside for the cancer Holly was diagnosed with 2.5 years ago...rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of childhood cancer. 

The Children’s Cancer Therapy Development Institute's mission is to translate scientific discovery into clinical trials by understanding and proving new disease-specific treatment options for children with cancer, with their current primary focus areas on rhabdomyosarcoma. This research from cc-TDI could offer new treatments for pediatric cancers that haven’t seen progress in decades! 

Holly is a fighter who reminds us that LOVE IS EVERYWHERE!     
We look forward to the day when every child who is diagnosed with cancer has a fighting chance.
